About the College Corps Program

The #CaliforniansForAll College Corps Program is a statewide AmeriCorps initiative that connects college students with meaningful community service — while helping make higher education more affordable. At Cal Poly, College Corps brings together the university's Learn by Doing philosophy with a deep commitment to the San Luis Obispo community.

Fellows are selected each academic year to serve 450 hours alongside community partner organizations in one of four focus areas: K–12 Education, Climate Action, Food Insecurity, and Healthy Futures. In return, fellows receive a monthly living stipend and an education award upon completing their service term.

College Corps is more than a program — it's a fellowship. Fellows build real-world skills, form lasting relationships with their communities, and grow as leaders and civic-minded professionals.
